Oficial opening of the installation

On 25 April (Thursday) at 6.30 pm in the City Garden - on the site of the former mausoleum - the art installation "Between the past that is about to happen and the future that has already been" by Krasimir Terziev, realized in the frames of "Outside" Programme of the Sofia Municipality, was officially opened.
Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality Yana Genova, writer Teodora Dimova and artist Lachezar Boyadzhiev spoke at the opening.
The "Outside" programme is the first of its kind in Bulgaria to support temporary art installations in urban environments. It was established in 2018 in support of the Sofia Development Strategy, and its main priority is access to culture by providing conditions for the presentation of art in public space, with free access for the citizens.
The programme follows the models of a number of international competitions for contemporary art and is part of the current processes to strengthen the presence of art in urban environments.
Krassimir Terziev's work "Between the past that is about to happen and the future that has already been" has been selected for support in 2022 in the second edition of the "Outside" programme and will be present in the city centre for one calendar year.
